Nothing compares to Disney- one of the greatest of all American Icons, and one of the most recognizable faces in all the world. This year for Christmas, celebrate with Mickey and all his friends at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, a special event at Magic Kindom Park at Disney World.

We had the pleasure of attending last week, and the kids had an amazing time- they had more fun at the Christmas Party then they did during the day if you can believe that!
The park closes early for this event, but don’t worry- if you have tickets, you can go right back in! As soon as you get there, Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade begins- complete with a special appearance by Santa Claus himself. While he comes up the rear- I can’t say that he was the main attraction for many- it was still Micky and Minnie!

It was magic! The dancers and Disney characters never fell out of step or character- they were the person who they were stepping into! Real magic for your child- and you too. So many adults just love Disney- there were as many adults as children online to see the Princesses and characters for photos!

There were so many grown-ups, Disney Magic is for everyone! Some of the other wonderful attractions for the Very Merry Christmas Party include-

  • The enchanted Castle Dream Lights on Cinderella Castle
  • Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade, complete with a special appearance by Santa Claus himself
  • An exclusive holiday fireworks extravaganza β€” Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season
  • Live entertainment featuring Disney Characters
  • Meet and greet opportunities throughout Magic Kingdom theme park with some of your favorite Disney Characters
  • Complimentary cookies and hot cocoa
  • A magical snow fall on Main Street, U.S.A.
  • Many of the most popular Magic Kingdom attractions

Really- snow fell in Florida! Ok, it was bubbles- but the kids had a blast catching them. The snow on Main Street was amazing- , and it made me feel like a child. At designated areas, you were able to get free (yes, free) hot chocolate, cookies, apple slices, and juice. How sweet and holiday-riffic!

Everyone at Disney was pleasant and sweet- and when we had a pee-pee emergency, you never saw people clear the way to the potty faster! LOL, moms and staff alike- we almost had a cheering section-“Turn left! You can make it! Almost there!”
(We made it! Yay! LOL.)

Santa was a big hit- because there really can’t be a Christmas party without Santa πŸ™‚ My kids really enjoyed seeing him- and while we were waiting, there was an amazing fireworks display! First was the picture and lights Castle Dream Lights display on Cinderella Castle, (photos taken throughout the day were showcased on the walls) and then Tinkerbell flew off. Commencing in- FIREWORKS! Amazing. Can you think of a better way to end your stay at Disney, or to Celebrate the festive side of Christmas? I can’t.

Come check out more pictures on my This Moment– I hope you like them! I had fun sharing them with you.
Happy Holidays!
