You might think this is just basically "Rocky" but with robots- but nay nay! How wrong you would be :P
It's also the underdog story of a boy and his giant mechanized friend, who overcome the odds and take the arena by storm. Plus- moms- Hugh Jackman is in it, and he takes his shirt off in all his movies- so that can be a bonus for us all, yes? LOL. Dads and kids get the robots, we get Hugh. HA!
The robots look realistic, and dad LOVES the "fight" scenes- he literally says "Like a mega version of Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots" (Yeah, I totally married that- try not to be jealous LOL). The 2 disc combo pack also includes a blooper reel, which are always fun. Have fun with the slideshow!

You know how badly I goofed up today? I went to pick this up, only got milk, eggs and butter..walked riiiiiiiiight past the movie and out of the store......
Took me reading this post to realize what my entire store trip was about to begin with!! lol
Little Bit has taken quite a liking to robots lately. I was just thinking earlier today that I would like to watch this movie with him. Does it get the Sam thumbs up for safe to watch with toddlers?
I am seriously considering investing in a new dvd player so we can watch these movies in blueray. The color is so much sharper. Sounds like a good movie.
I think I would like to see this one!!
