Why do so few clothing stores make only a couple of options for boys? Nothing really cool or super fab. There are not many stores that cater to both boys AND girls. I love being the mom of a son, but shopping for fun clothes for him is challenging. He has his own taste (the child thinks he is a rock star) and it’s nearly impossible to fins clothing that he likes that I can afford. Hello? Do I look like I can afford boutique shopping? No, no I can’t. But he can look like I do, right? Enter The Children’s Place– home of all sorts of fabulous, at a price even I can afford (oh, and they are SO GOOD about sales- yay! Make sure you sign up for their newsletter and emails if you haven’t yet, you are so missing out if you are not on those lists!)

Yes- the girls clothes are really cute, trendy, and fun. But how often can you REALLY find great, stylish, boys items? Right? You know what I mean, moms, aunts, and grandmas of boys. It’s not easy. And they really make the outfit with the boy in mind- from belts to ties to hats- they know what a trendy boy wants to wear. Of course, you can buy jeans and T-Shirts there as well, but they are just so much more fun to shop at then any other store for me. If you look at my photos from this website, you can see that EASILY more then 70% of Little Man’s clothing comes from The Children’s Place. They keep the kid (and mommy’s wallet!) in mind, with the softest sweatpants, the most fun prints, and complete ensembles. Not to mention that they keep styles fresh, so you won’t see the same thing on 300 kids.

Three more things I love. Quick like a bunny- promise! They start at baby sizes and work on up. Everything will always match- they have coordinating sets, even down to the shoes. For babies, they even often have hats, slip on shoes, and blankets to match. (Yes, I have been a fan since he was born. He was Christened in a Children’s Place outfit. Not kidding.) Children’s Place has fun and funky shoes and boots for both boys and girls- she wants sparkles and he wants motorcycle boots? You don’t want to spend tons, since you know they will A- destroy their shoes in 4 seconds, and B- grow out of them in 5- Done. They are available right at the store or online. And the last thing I love? It’s so easy to go in, get what you need, not be bombarded by nonsense and Justin Beiber and shows and other junk- just classic and trendy styles. Your kids will look fantastic, you won’t pay through the nose, and the shopping experience is just so easy. What’s not to love? I’m a true lover of Children’s Place. It’s my first (and often my only) stop when looking for fun things for my son and daughter.

  8. I can definitely relate to the despair of finding fab clothes for little boys. There are so many beautiful clothes for girls but when it comes to boys, the pickings are slim. Love this outfit on your little one.

  9. I always bought TCP clothes when my kids were little. Great styles!

  10. He is a handsome little guy. I used to use the Children’s place all the time. It was the only place to find clothes I liked for my son.

  11. Oh my! What a handsome little man! Love the looks!

  12. He does look pretty sharp….I had forgotten how hard it was to dress a younger boy. I had the same complaint when the man-child was Little’s age. Looks like you have found a nice option. The twins have a birthday coming up, their auntie may need to dress them this year 🙂
