Veggie Tales – Robin Good Review and Giveaway

If you didn’t think the story of Robin Hood wasn’t full of moral inspiration already, take a look at Robin Good. The new VeggieTales DVD which retells the story of Robin Hood with a more Biblical spin.

The story starts out with Robin and friends fundraising from the rich to give to the poor, but before long the prince throws a wrench in things and Robin must make a difficult decision. Is he willing to steal from the rich and give to the poor along with his friends? The story is a familiar one, that is easy to follow and will keep


kids engaged and learning. VeggieTales is good at a few things, to name a few- it keeps kids engaged with interesting stories and characters, and it gives viewers a stronger moral compass. Reinforcing the moral compass in children should be done at every chance given.

  1. Hmmm…..it’s hard to pick a favorite I think my children have nearly 15 movies. The catchiest one is the pirates who don’t do anything :O) We have a good easter one to but I can’t remember the name offhand.lol

  2. oh mine is Madam Blueberry by Far!!! When I taught Kindergarten our end of the year production one year was madam blueberry and king George and the Rubber Ducky the following year!

  3. Larry Boy & the Bad Apple is child #2 ‘s fav and child #1 loves Larry Boy & the Rumour Weed. They both sing This is the day first thing in the morning :)

  4. We haven’t seen many of these because we have one child who doesn’t watch much TV yet. I am really looking forward to seeing more videos, though!
