I have been in the market for a new flat iron for awhile now! I am pretty picky about my flat irons, so it is rather hard for me to find one that really meets my needs! I was lucky enough to be able to do a review on a fabulous one…The Cortex Solo 450 Titanium Giraffe Flat Iron/Hair Straightener (1″).

About The Flat Iron

Cortex Solo 450 Collection is new to the market and made for professionals in the beauty industry. You probably could have guested this iron heats up to 450 degrees F, the hottest in the market. Adjustable heat and ergonomically designed this flat iron can be used on ultra thick frizzy hair or ultra thin hair. The results are amazing!

The Flat Iron is equipped with Nano Titanium Technology. The Titanium helps preserve more moisture. It also helps get rid of the frizz, as well as creating smooth and shiny hair. Another wonderful thing about it is that is causes less damage to your hair, compared to other straighteners.

It also has the Negative Ion Technology. This is really good for the health and appearance of the hair.

Far Infrared Heat: This helps dry the hair from the inside out, which makes sure that more moisture remains in the hair shaft and there is less damage to the hair.

In addition to receiving the wonderful flat iron, I also received the KQC Thermal Shine Spray.

The iron holder has suction cups on the under side to grip onto smooth, glossy surfaces, such as glass.

MY THOUGHTS

Cortex SOLO 450 Titanium Giraffe Flat Iron/Hair Straightener-

The flat iron has many perks for me. I like how quickly it heats up! It has a wonderful long cord so that you don’t have to stand right next to an outlet. It is very smooth. It just glides through your hair without pulling or harming it! I have also enjoyed how quickly and easily I can do spiral curls with this straightener. It does such a great job with the curls! I also am impressed with how wonderful it works. I don’t have extremely thick or rough hair, but it still seemed to take a long time with my old straightener. I can get my hair done within about 10 minutes, which is wonderful being a busy mom with two kids! One of my favorite aspects about the straightener is the fact that it really makes my hair shiny after I use it! I couldn’t be happier with the results of this flat iron, If you are in the market for a new straightener, this is definitely the way to go!

KQC Thermal Shine Spray-

I really have enjoyed the shine spray. It is very easy to use! I have just been spraying it on my hair before I blow dry it. I really think that it helps add that extra shine that I enjoy with my hair! I also was greatly satisfied that it doesn’t make your hair greasy or cause any rough buildup!

Flat Iron Experts Iron Holder-

I was so happy to be able to get an Iron holder as well! It works SO great. I have never had one before, and I know that I have stressed my husband out many times leaving my straightening iron on the counter or who knows where else. It also is a great place to store my flat iron so I don’t have to put it up and get it out all the time! I just stuck it on the mirror in my bathroom and haven’t had any problems with it since!
