When I was a kid my favorite part about the holidays were big meat and cheese care packages and baked goods. … My family is sparsely spread these days so if I want baked goods or meat trays I have to get them together myself. With so much to do and so many people with a plate handed in my direction, giving everyone their Christmas goodies has become an impossible task.
Of the last batch of breakfast muffins I baked…. I didn’t even get pan crumbs.
So when I heard about Swiss Colony& their front door delivery of baked goods, meat, and cheeses, I was all in!

Because The Swiss Colony has a nice selection of cheese, meats, and nuts and snacks; all the things that remind me of holidays at grandma.

I really like that The Swiss Colony has a variety of treats but I am especially attracted to the meat and cheese arrangements. Having grown up very close to a well-known cheese factory, I’m sure you won’t be surprised to learn that I am a cheese snob and think that we are completely out of groceries if we are out of cheese. My family is pretty much the same way…so well presented cheese is the perfect gift to give any one of them.
This year my pursuit of memories at grandma’s and (all things cheese )is no different. I again turned to Swiss Colony.
And once again I’m not disappointed. I got my cheese and sweet fix with the 27 favorites arrangement, my loot included:
Snack-sized BEEF LOG, Caraway, Garlic and Summer Sausages
Cheddar, Brick, Edam and Colby Cheeses; decadent Mini Butter Toffee
Fruit Spreads; delectable Bonbons; delicious Cakes; Petits Fours and more!
I especially like this particular arrangement because it has a little something for everyone. I got my cheese and Petits Fours, the man-child got his beef and summer sausages, and little girl got her Bonbons and toffee. Mr UnFun was a little too late and only got hear how good everything was…..though I imagine I’ll be headed back to Swiss Colony to make it up to him.

It’s my fail safe gift to those that I ship gift to this time of year. I still can’t get over how inexpensive Swiss Colony is either…less than a holiday flower arrangement and much more useful. I’ve all but quit sending flowers to my mother; she gets a little something similar to what we get, except because she is diabetic I leave out the sweets but I’m sweet enough :0)
