Feed the… what? Yep, you read that right! Feed the Woozle, a fun preschool game from Peaceable Kingdom, arrived at our house a few weeks ago! While the game is specifically made for preschoolers, my girls (school-aged) had fun trying it out anyway. Actually, we all had fun because it was entertaining to watch the girls jump around and do the tasks specified by the game!
Finding a fun gift for under $20 is hard to do, especially in this day and age with iPods, iPads, and every other “i” gadget you could think of, it’s time to step back and relax a bit. Remember the day when you’d sit down with your family and play a board game? We have Family Game Night every Friday night and are constantly looking for new games to play. The same ol’ same ol’ gets a little boring.
Discovering a game that both boys and girls enjoy can also be a difficult task! When you get games like Race to the Treasure and Feed the Woozle, your kids will be excited to find out what is going to come next!
The kids love the games because they’re fun! Moms love Peaceable Kingdom games because they are educational, and some of their games are even made from post-consumer recycled cardboard and printed with soy-based inks.
Feed the Woozle is a fun cooperative game that focuses on developmental skills of children in an active, exciting game. The object of the game is for all players together to “feed” the Woozle 12 silly snacks. Players roll a die and then place the indicated number of snacks on a spoon. Then they spin the spinner that directs them to walk to the Woozle performing a gross motor movement like Bunny Hop or Walk Backwards. It’s not a cake walk to keep those snacks from sliding off the spoon while making your way across the room. If everyone together can feed the Woozle 12 snacks, then everyone wins!

This would be a great game during the Holidays as well. With family members coming to town and kids, this would keep them busy!
My son is getting old enough to play things like this! I have to check this out!
