About 2 weeks ago, I had a little surprise. I was cleaning out my flower beds, behind the giant bushes in front of my house, when the rake hit some plastic. No surprise, it’s been a long winter. As I pulled it forward, it “squished”. Ew, all I was thinking was “please don’t be something dead in there”….
I pulled out a gross, slimy bag. Sealed. It had something inside, but all the labels had been lost to weather and being outside for a long time. I cut it open, and to my great surprise, the inside was dry. And was a very, very pretty Karina dress!
It was a really good surprise. The only bummer in all of this, was I started hormone therapy a few months back, as some of you may recall, and I put on 14 Lbs (after all that hard earned weight loss!), so it doesn’t fit me right now. But I have already dropped 2 of them, so it will fit me in no time, I am sure!
Karina Dresses are made in Brooklyn with microfiber blend fabric which is imported. Each Dress has four way stretch, is machine washable and come in limited edition solids and prints. The selection of dresses in constantly changing because the dresses are produced in small batches right in their Brooklyn facility, which means you will never (likely) run into someone in the same dress, and you get a dress made in the USA.
I am not a fashionista, but I do love dresses and find them easier to wear then trying to put an outfit together- no mistakes to be made 🙂 And Karina dresses are made with a woman’s body in mind, to flatter all figures and all sizes. As I put on my Karina Dress, I was happy with the feel and texture of it, and it even was a decent fit over my (very large) chest, which is my problem area. I know it will be beautiful as soon as I can get off the hormones and get this beautiful dress on comfortably. This dress is stylish, was comfortable and breathable, and is easy to take care of, as well as being classy and timeless. This would have been so great to take with me to Cancun in a few weeks! I’m sort of mourning, LOL.
This is a picture of me in the dress. As you can see, it’s a bit small, but I know I will be in it in no time.
Regardless of your shape or size, Karina Dresses will make you feel pretty. The style I chose is called Holly, which is a limited addition. I can’t wait to be able to wear it, I love the style, cut and colors. I can throw it in the washing machine in cool water and hang it up to dry. It never needs ironing, so it is perfect for travel.

Hormone therapy stinks but finding a pretty dress to spark your mojo could be just what the metabolism fairy ordered. Amazing that you found it after all that mother nature has throw in your direction, it’s a wonder that anything is still intact!

OMG, that is craziness. I wouldn’t be surprised if I lost packages in the snow this winter as well. We get so much of it! That is a gorgeous dress. I am sure you will be in it in no time!
