My plan was fried chicken the other night but we were late getting in from some things outside so dinner was on top of us and I didn’t have time! This is when the oven comes in handy and the chicken is still crispy for those who think “oven fried chicken” is not worth it. It is, my kids inhaled the chicken I just barely got a picture before little hands started nabbing all the chicken before my eyes.

It’s quick , it’s simple it’s dinner in under 45 minutes it’s Oven Fried Chicken!

chicken

ingredients

3 to 4lbs of chicken thighs

1/4 cup flour

2 1/4 teaspoons Montreal steak seasonings by McCormick

1/3 cup butter melted

Set the Oven to 400F

Make sure the chicken is washed, then pat it dry. Put the flour and seasoning into a plastic bag and shake up. Taking the pieces of chicken, coat them one by one and place in a baking pan ( roasting pan does great) Drizzle the butter over the chicken . Cook for about 25 minutes, then turn over. Cook about 15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked, and no longer pink inside.

Sometimes I dip the chicken in egg than cover in flour to bake. The kids like it either way but I prefer the egg method. Enjoy!

  1. That does look like excellent chicken. I have a different recipe, but I like how this one looks all cooked up.
