When you have a young child and you are constantly on the go, it sure is hard to make sure that you keep them completely covered. Out of the sun, plus keeping away bugs and everyone’s pointing fingers can also be extremely hard. The Shade is the ultimate solution for this problem.

Imagine Baby was founded by the mother of two boys who, while she thought she had all the right accessories, struggled with the proper protection for her babies while on the go in their infant car seats. She ended up throwing away the blanket and clips and traded them in for her version of true infant protection – The Shade.
About The Shade:
The Shade is a new and innovative way to protect baby while in an infant car seat from the outside elements such as sun, wind, rain, snow, and bugs, as well as unwanted touch. Most importantly, it also provides a nice shaded place for undisturbed napping while on the go. It is made from a micropoly/lycra blend. The fabric is soft to the touch and has water wicking capabilities that cause it to dry extremely quickly. UPF rating of 50+.
My Thoughts:
I was completely impressed with this wonderful baby gadget. It quickly and easily goes onto the carseat. It would fit any infant carseat out there easily. After you have it on you can leave it completely covered while your child is sleeping, but you could also open it up so they can look around when they are awake.
I always was trying to cover the carseat with a blanket when I was in the sun, but I had such a hard time keeping it on, especially with the horrible wind that I get to deal with everyday living in the midwest. This would have been the greatest solution when my child was younger.
I know that this will help out all of those moms out there that are constantly trying to keep their children covered from the elements, as well as the crazy touchy-feely strangers out there.
