Rainy day?  Too hot to go outside?  Check out the new Boom Boom Balloon game from Spin Master.

“With Boom Boom Balloon, you never know when the balloon will go BOOM.  Roll the die and carefully push the stick in until it clicks.  Watch as the balloon squishes and squeezes, stretches and strains…will the next click of the stick make it pop?  If the balloon goes BOOM on your turn, then you are out.  Boom Boom Balloon is the kids game that is a real blast.  Ages 7+

My thoughts- it would be a fun party game or a dexterity building game for the kids.  It is easy to set up, and takes no time at all to learn- just push the sticks in the same number of clicks you rolled- that’s it!  It comes with only 10 balloons, but you can always get a giant bag at the dollar store  🙂

My son loved it, but near the end we were both freaking out, knowing it was going to pop and not really wanting to push the sticks in anymore, we didn’t want it to explode with a loud pop, ha.  But it did, and we had fun.  Be careful with small pieces of broken balloon around kids, babies, and pets, please!

  1. What a cute game! My little guy would love to play this. He’s close in age to your little one.

  2. I can totally see my son and husband digging into this. My daughter and self would be too chicken!

  3. Lol I think some kids would react like me and be afraid to pay because they’re afraid fo it popping and others woudl think this is the best idea for a game EVER. I have some rather rough-and-tumbe nephews who woud have a blast with this i’m sure.

  4. Oh man – I’m not scared of much, but I am scared of balloons popping. So weird, but just thinking about that makes me cringe!!
