Children love to dream. Their imaginations can take them on wild adventures; transporting them to far-off places and allowing them to envision grand scenes.  But, ultimately, no matter where their dreams lead them, their parents are there every step of the way. In I’d Know You Anywhere, My Love, best-selling author Nancy Tillman underscores parents’ steadfast devotion, while celebrating the dreamers.

Inspired by her own children who often pretended to be different animals, I’d Know You Anywhere, My Love is written from the point of view of a mother whose child becomes a bear cub, a rhino, a ringtail raccoon, among other animals.  Filled with affirmation, I’d Know You Anywhere, My Love teaches children to dream big and remain confident that, whatever they aspire to be, they will be recognized and loved.

Getting Kids To Sleep

The newest title by Nancy Tillman, the best-selling author of On the Night You Were Born, is adorable.  Nancy’s new book, I’d Know You Anywhere, My Love, is written from the point of view of a mother whose child uses imagination to become a bear cub, a rhino, and a ringtail raccoon, among other animals.  I’d Know You Anywhere, My Love teaches children to dream big, while remaining confident that, whatever they aspire to be, they will be recognized and loved.

Your Kids Will Love This Book

This sweet book, about the bonds of mother and child, is a great bedtime read.  It has a nice flow, is neither too long nor too short for the average one-shot read, and has nothing that would keep your child up all night.  It also lets your child’s imagination wander, giving him or her dreams of silly animals and loving momma all night long.  The images are lovely, and my son liked pretending to be all the animals (or showing me his stuffed versions) as he got ready.  The next night, he wanted to read it again, and he had all his stuffed “lovies” ready to go when it was their turn to be “known” by momma.
