When you have a sick little one there are a few very important steps.  The first of which is find out how sick they are.  The best way to do this is with a thermometer.  When looking fo ra thermometer there are many choices available.  These include mouth, ear and forehead thermometers to name a few.  The easiest of which to use is the forehead thermometer.

Ginger Man 008

The Braun head thermometer is one of the easiest ones to use.  With a big digital readout that is back lit, even in low light levels it is easy to tell just how sick your little one is.  Is it just a no school day or is it time to pull out the big guns and break that fever quick.  The screen also lights up in different colors depending on how sever the fever is ranging from green for a regular temperature to yellow to red for the most severe.

To use the thermometer simply push the button and place it on a forehead, then swipe it back and forth.  Once the unit beeps the temperature is displayed on the screen.

In our house we love forehead thermometers and have used them since Little Man was just a little peanut and this one is one of our new favorites.  You can pick this up at Toys R Us or Babies R Us, as well as drug stores like CVS.
