While in LA, we were able to chat with the starts of several great ABC TV shows.  Want to meet some of the lovely ladies yourself?  Enter, and check out the mom’s (both on and offscreen) of some of the latest hit shows you love to watch.

win ph 03 15 14 260The lovely Malin Akerman from “Trophy Wife” was a pleasure to talk to, and was excited to tell us about her young son and adventures in motherhood.  You can read more about her and the show in this post, or watch the show Tuesdays at 9:30 eastern/8:30 central on ABC.

win ph 03 15 14 261Photo-Bombing myself, ha.  Got tired of the “posed” pictures- so this is what you get!  Me and Patricia Heaton, of “The Middle”.  Want to know more about her?  Check out this post and get social with The Middle on Facebook on Twitter @TheMiddle_ABC.  Keep up with the fun on Twitter with the hashtag #ABCTVEvent. You can watch on Wednesdays at 8 EST on ABC.
She has kids that are a bit older then mine, so she told us all what we were in for when they got older.  She told us all about the set of “Everybody Loves Raymond”, raising kids “on sets” and how being a mother is a priority for her.

win ph 03 15 14 274Ming-Na Wen, currently on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, was on one of the first shows I ever watched seasons of- ER!  I loved ER, and watched every episode, ever season, starting with when new Dr.s Charter (Noah Wyle)  and Jing-Mei (Ming-Na Wen) first appeared.  It was one of the first shows I was a “fan” of growing up.  Now my husband loves her on Agents of Shield, small world!  We talked about higher education and joked about “devious” mom tactics that must sometimes be employed, LOL.

win ph 03 15 14 275Jami Gertz, currently of “The Neighbors”, was a lot of fun, and I loved talking with her.  She went all “Jersey” with me after talking about where we were from, and what part of NJ.  I’m a Jersey Girl, and she played a part of the same name.  She had to do some character research in the state, where she got a dose of NJ that she fondly remembers.  You just gotta be from NJ to get some of the stuff we were talkin’ about, and Bayonne would not be please.  Like anyone cares what Bayonne has to say, anyway.  😛   I’m a new Jami Gertz fan.  (I really was laughing that hard.)

Have you seen these lovely ladies and their new shows?  I will admit, I had not.  Have now!  Make sure you do too, you don’t know what you are missing.   Follow the hashtag #ABCTVEvent for all the fun on twitter.
