My son doesn’t always love bedtime.  If your kids are anything like that (gasp! Kids that resist sleep? I know, that’s incredibly rare) then you know that anything that helps get them to bed is a good thing.  We have a routine here, and always have.  I always recommend that parents develop and stick with one, so kids know what is coming and are less likely to resist.  Ours includes bath time, lavender lotion, bedtime stories, his favorite song, and bedtime prayers. As a kid who loves his stuffed animals, this adorable Prayer Bear is a welcome addition to his bed.  Not only is is cute and soft, but it also says a bedtime prayer when you press it’s stomach.

“Blessing every child they touch, the Blessed Friends prayer dolls from Kids Preferred share a sweet message and a soft touch. Featuring a boy, a girl and a bear doll, Blessed Friends are cuddly and caring; they are the perfect gift for a new baby, a christening or holiday. Each doll has a special sound chip that recites this comforting nighttime prayer, “Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep. May angels watch me through the night, and keep me in their blessed sight. Amen.”

My son has (clearly) taken his new bear out and about with him, and apparently used him as a pillow as well (so you know he’s soft).  Available in Bear, and Boy or Girl doll for $14.99 on Amazon, Blessed Friends can be purchased and shipped in time for Kindergarten graduations or upcoming birthdays  and other special days.
