Baltic amber has been around for centuries, helping communities boost their immune systems while reducing inflammation caused by many ailments. It’s only been in the last several decades that this medicinally valuable stone has been made into an amber teether for 24/7 relief.

Baltic amber is paving the way for modern medicine to have a natural approach. Amber contains succinic acid, which is the component responsible for reducing inflammation, stress, and it’s packed with antioxidants.

Properties of Baltic Amber: Found only in the countries of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, Baltic amber is a fossilized tree resin – as lasting as a mother’s love. This specific resin is special because it contains a high concentration (8%) of an ingredient called “succinic acid.” Succinic acid – produced by the human body in small quantities – acts as a pain-reliever, swelling-reducer, and antibiotic, helping to ease the common aches and pains of pregnancy as well as the discomfort of teething in infants. Because this acid is already found in the body and does not build up to unsafe levels, being eliminated if there is excess in the bloodstream, the use of Baltic amber is completely safe for pregnant women and their babies.

Beaded Amber Necklaces: Once harvested, Baltic amber is then carefully crafted into one-of-a-kind necklaces. Each bead is intentionally smoothed and individually knotted – even as a mother carefully provides for the comfort and security of her little one. When worn close against the skin – reflecting the intimacy of the maternal relationship – the beads are warmed by the body, and the soothing succinic acid is released from the amber, free to be absorbed through the skin, into the bloodstream, and delivered to the inflamed or irritated part of the body.

Uses for Amber Necklaces in Mother and Child: One single necklace may serve to soothe both mother and child as they each move into new stages of life. The necklace may be used throughout pregnancy to address a mother’s sore back, aching joints as her body distends to accommodate baby’s growth, swollen tissues, and general discomfort. After birth, baby may wear the necklace (underneath clothing to avoid entanglement) to calm the swollen gums, painful pressure, and excessive drooling of teething.

Baltic amber necklaces are safe for pregnant women, infants, and adults, and they come in a variety of colors! Try one out for yourself and experience the magical relief of Baltic amber!

Two of you can win one of these necklaces to ease your own aches and pains. Feel free to enter by using the RC code below. Good luck! Ends May 7, 2018.
