Boca Beth is a fun, interesting way to introduce your child to a new language, or brush up and practice your child’s Spanish.  My own Spanish is faltering at best, LOL, it used to be much better!  But I do want Little Man to learn it from a young age, so I have been playing Spanish music and children’s DVDs since he was a baby for him.

Studies show that children who are exposed to second languages from a young age have a better chance of retaining them, and at fluency.  They also tend to have higher IQs, and have a better chance at learning more languages as well.  More jobs will be open to speakers of multiples languages.  Not to mention travel being easier, and being able to communicate with more people, more easily.  With all these things that can only benefit your child- why wouldn’t you want them to learn a foreign language?   🙂
