Who doesn’t love the Disney Store? I know my Little Man goes bonkers every time we set foot in one.   We love all things Disney here (and I know you all know how much he loves “Cars”, Micky Mouse, and Flounder,  lol) 
For people like us who don’t live too close to Florida or California, the magic of Disney will have to come from the Disney store in between fabulous vacations, and of course, trips to see the Disney Movies, and Disney live shows!  🙂  But no worries- there are MUCH shorter lines, and no worries about getting sun burnt, haha!  Check out one of the newest Disney Stores-

Today, Disney Store celebrated the opening of its award-winning new concept store at Palisades Center in West Nyack, New York. One of many newly-designed stores to open in 2011, the interactive shopping destination offers magical experiences for Disney fans of all ages. Disney Store’s new design aims to deliver the best 30 minutes of a child’s day through immersive experiences, including a Disney Princess Castle with Magic Mirror, Translucent Magical Trees, Disney●Pixar CARS-branded Ridemakerz custom toy car building experience and the Disney Store Theatre, featuring the latest in Disney entertainment.

We received a Lion “craft kit” from 1-2-3 Textured Products.  This kit costs $1 and came with all you need to do a craft in no time.
It was nice to have everything all in one bag.   Little Man loves wild animals, so he liked this craft.

Apartments.com is looking to crown America’s best roommate in its third annual Roommate of the Year video contest with a grand prize of free rent for one year plus $10,000.  According to a recent Apartments.com survey, 45 percent of renters currently live with a roommate or plan to move in with one, so finding the right person to live with is an important decision for a large number of renters. In 2010, Andrew Prestler of Kokomo, Indiana and a student at Ball State beat out stiff competition to be named the 2010 Roommate of the Year by Apartments.com. To capture those unique qualities that make a great roommate exceptional, Prestler composed an original rap and created an eye-catching video, singling him out as the “Da Best” and securing his title as the Apartments.com Roommate of the Year. Beginning April 25, 2011, renters can view last year’s winning video for inspiration, enter the contest and get details for submitting their own entries at http://www.roommateoftheyear.com.

Finding the ideal roommate can be tough, and with recent census data illustrating that people are holding off on marriage until they are older, people may find themselves living with a roommate for longer than they originally planned. Meanwhile, apartment rents have steadily risen since 1980 and are likely to continue that trend this year with experts projecting that rents will rise by 3.5-4.5 percent each month in 2011.
A recent Apartments.com survey reveals that 77 percent of respondents have never lived with a roommate they would consider “the best,” – up 17 percent from last year’s survey – and more than half are not planning on living with their current roommate when they move. The Roommate of the Year Contest seeks to find those roommates who do qualify as” the best” and showcase them for America to see.
“Most people take choosing a roommate very seriously and put a lot of thought and time into making the right selection. This contest gives people a fun and creative outlet to express their feelings about their living situations,” said Tammy Kotula, Apartments.com spokesperson. “It’s always fun to see what people really think makes a good roommate. The video entries that we receive are as varied and unique as roommates themselves.”  
Prestler continues to prove his claim as 2010 Apartments.com Roommate of the Year, as one of his current college roommates has already signed up to live with him again for the 2011-12 school year.
“I say a lot of over-the-top things in my video about what it takes to be the best roommate and be named the Apartments.com Roommate of the Year,” states Prestler. “But in reality, a big part of being a good roommate is being respectful and treating people the way you want to be treated.”

POM Wonderful Juice Review and coupon

Why is POM Wonderful juice so good?  Well for one it is a little sour and sweet, not syrupy-sweet, just refreshing.  It is also a perfect thirst quencher when you need something different yet not insanely weird. POM is pomegranate juice.  It is naturally sweet and sour at the same time.  Is great by itself and is even healthy and good for you.  POM Wonderful full of good stuff- like anti-oxidants and vitamin C.  The kids really like it too.  The little guy loves goes nuts for POM (he calls it Pom Pom juice).  He also loves fresh pomegranate- but that is impossible to get year round.    I buy him POM Wonderful the 10 months of the year when I can’t get pomegranates  🙂  The only real drawback is it can be a little pricey. 
Another great characteristic of it is it mixes great with vodka, which Daddy is making me put in “for the grown-ups”.   🙂   He insists this is vital information for you to have, and that I as a non-drinker do not know what I am missing.

Pre-K days

Oh good grief, what a day!  LOL, some days are crazier then others.  The kids (mine and at the school) were off the wall today, and my mind is literally rattling.  

I keep staring at the computer, but then I realize that I am not actually doing anything. 
I am going to take a shower, get my mind together, and I will be back!  🙂
