Easter Adorable from The Children’s Place @thechildrensplc

Why do so few clothing stores make only a couple of options for boys? Nothing really cool or super fab. There are not many stores that cater to both boys AND girls. I love being the mom of a son, but shopping for fun clothes for him is challenging. He has his own taste (the child thinks he is a rock star) and it’s nearly impossible to fins clothing that he likes that I can afford. Hello? Do I look like I can afford boutique shopping? No, no I can’t. But he can look like I do, right? Enter The Children’s Place– home of all sorts of fabulous, at a price even I can afford (oh, and they are SO GOOD about sales- yay! Make sure you sign up for their newsletter and emails if you haven’t yet, you are so missing out if you are not on those lists!)

Yes- the girls clothes are really cute, trendy, and fun. But how often can you REALLY find great, stylish, boys items? Right? You know what I mean, moms, aunts, and grandmas of boys. It’s not easy. And they really make the outfit with the boy in mind- from belts to ties to hats- they know what a trendy boy wants to wear. Of course, you can buy jeans and T-Shirts there as well, but they are just so much more fun to shop at then any other store for me. If you look at my photos from this website, you can see that EASILY more then 70% of Little Man’s clothing comes from The Children’s Place. They keep the kid (and mommy’s wallet!) [Read more…]

How to Save Money on the Hottest Brand Name Clothes for Your Teens

Some parents live with a teenager who makes them feel like he or she is a stylist in the making. Sure, they
have a good sense of style, but they also have a big interest in designer clothing. There’s not anything
wrong with that so long as their new pair of True Religion jeans don’t come at the expense of everyone
in the house going without electricity the next month! If you can relate, there are ways that you can save
money on brand name clothes. These are just a few.

Go When There’s a Sale. Only.

When it comes to finding designer clothes for teenagers, department stories like Nordstrom, Dillard’s
and Macy’s are pretty much sure things. However, just because you know where to locate the clothes, that
doesn’t always mean that you can afford the price tag that’s on them. That’s why it’s a good idea to get on
their mailing list for sales. Most department stores hold them pretty frequently and being patient until
you get that 30-50% off notice is well worth the wait.

Shop Online

Websites like Overstock.com and even Ebay.com specialize in selling designer items at a discounted price.
Stores with websites Marshalls and TJ Maxx do as well. There are even websites like 15DollarStore.com (it
means just what it says) that has some unbelievable finds. The smart thing about online shopping is that
they tend to offer exclusive deals for people who are ordering over the Internet. Don’t forget to check out

How to Update Your Wardrobe on a Budget

Every woman loves keeping their closet up to date when it comes to the latest trends in fashion and
style, but a limited budget can make updating your wardrobe seem like an exercise in futility. If you
want to enjoy the one of a kind feeling that comes with putting on your favorite dress and a fabulous
pair of pumps for a night on the town, balancing your fashion sense with financial prudence can be hard
to manage. Even with the recession dragging on, and dragging our wallets down with it, there is good
news for budget savvy women who want to stay fashionable. For modern shoppers, a combination of
discount clothing outlets, retro resale operations and the online shopping experience means that there
are plenty of ways to snag designer labels and unique ensembles while sticking to a sensible budget.

The first step to take when you want to update your wardrobe for the upcoming season is to shed all of
your outdated and unwanted clothes. If your photos all seem have the same blouse and jeans combo,
it may be time to ditch it for something fresh and new. Organize your closet and search diligently for
items that are simply ready to go, and separate these clothes by type, brand and original price. Now you

Shopping for Jambu Shoes with #CBias

Us ladies, we are all about the shoes! So when I got the chance to do a late night shopping trip for some Jambu Shoes, I was all about it ๐Ÿ™‚

Jambu makes the cutest summer shoes- so I couldn’t wait to see what they had for winter. I love, love, love their summer shoes, so I had really high hopes! I was not disappointed.
Jambu has a bunch of options, including a Vegan Shoe Line- how very inspiring! Gotta love it when brands are eco-conscious.

I so needed new winter shoes, so this came at a good time for me! Most of my shoes were swept away with Hurricane Irene, so I was excited to try to replace a pair, LOL. I HATE winter, as most of you know, and I am always, always cold. Especially my feet! UGH! Some new Jambu shoes are just what the doctor ordered.

I had something soft and warm in mind when looking for new winter shoes, and there were plenty of options to choose from when I checked them out on line. However- when I got to the stores, there was nothing to be found. First I tried Moo Shoes, at 78 Orchard Street New York, NY 10002 USA, known for their vegan shoes. However, they were closed when I got there, and were still not opened when I arrived [Read more…]

French Toast- the best clothes for the best kids- W!N Yours Here

School Uniforms have classically been plain and average looking. French Toast is a school uniform company- but none of the that. Their clothing is of high quality, classic simple designs, and also low cost. The tops can be customized by adding your school emblem making it a classic school uniform or left as they are. The uniforms come in both boys school uniforms and girls school uniforms.

We had the opportunity to try out a few pieces. First up, the long sleeve knit polo, this piece is a classic, as part of a uniform or simply an addition to your young one’s wardrobe. It can be paired with just about any skirt maybe something a bit loud and bright.

The flat front all season pant is up next these pants have a nice fit and are very comfortable according Kamikaze. She likes how the pants are a little wider at the bottom. Would go good with a sweater or even a nice short sleeved [Read more…]

Just Jen Shirts- for all occasions

When is the last time you made a shirt? Was it for a party or maybe on the boardwalk or at a theme park? Either way, I am guessing by now the graphic has faded and it is now almost unrecognizable destined for the remainder of its days as a ‘painting/work’ shirt. Why not try making a shirt which is a bit more eye popping- or maybe one you can use to promote your brand, your blog, or your fantastic-ness? LOL

Take a look at Just Jen. At Just Jen you can create your own custom t shirts. These t shirts can display any message or phrase emblazoned in rhinestones of 24 colors and shapes. Your text can have up to 3 lines and each line can have its own font, there are more then 10 [Read more…]
