It’s Still Summer- Take Advantage With With These Fun Toys

As we head into the last few weeks of summer, soak up ever last bit of fun.

Water balloon fights are awesome, but are not fun to clean up after, and a few people always get stuck making a ton of balloons (and those knots….blah).  An easy work around is the new Water Wubble.  The Water Wubble is a new water based Wubble (the latest toy in the Wubble family) which is able to be filled with water from the pool, faucet, ocean, or hose easily and quickly. It easily seals up after filling.  When it is thrown, it hits your target with a splash and can be refilled again and again for loads of fun. No knots required.

We have found the Water Wubble is easy to fill in the pool, at the beach and the hose all just the same.   These are a lot of fun, and who doesn’t love a water fight in the heat of the summer?  The coolest part of the Water Wubble is its re-usability.  Each Wubble can be filled hundreds of times and seal up easily and can be used again and again. The Water Wubble is available online directly from the Wubble website, Walmart, Target and ToysRUs.  The Water Wubble retails for $14.99.

Looking for some indoor/outdoor fun? WeCool’s Bobble Bitz, aimed at girls ages five and up but would be fun for anyone who likes to create (don’t want to pigeonhole!)  is a squishy molding compound that lets kids create all sorts of unique items and designs that harden overnight jewelry they can wear or artwork they can show off on the mantle. Water Wubble for Summer Fun

We have found the Water Wubble is easy to fill in the pool, at the beach and the hose all just the same.   These are a lot of fun, and who doesn’t love a water fight in the heat of the summer?  These make perfect grenades that explode water everywhere when they burst.  Water Wubbles would be perfect where each team has a bucket of water and Water Wubbles (they come in different colors) to go along with various water guns.  But of course the real winner of the water gun fight is Mom, because she was smart and kept the hose on after filling the Water Wubbles and now turned it on the kiddos (LOL).

Karina Dresses Look Good On Everyone- Win One Here!

Disclosure: I was sent the below product free of charge in order to review it. No other compensation was received. The opinions above are 100% mine.

Being top heavy, dresses are sometimes hard for me to find and fit into. My chest is always my first consideration, and if there is a zipper or buttons involved, that complicated matters quite a bit. Not that I am currently a slender woman, but whether at my slimmest or largest, when you have a chest as large as mine, no one makes clothes to fit the top, middle, and bottom all at the same size and you end up in a bag or at the tailor.

Karina Dresses are made in Brooklyn with microfiber blend fabric which is imported. Each Dress has four way stretch, is machine washable and come in limited edition solids and prints. The selection of dresses in constantly changing because the dresses are produced in small batches right in their Brooklyn facility, which means you will never (likely) run into someone in the same dress, and you get a dress made in the USA.

Samurai Burrito Food Review

A new sushi adventure!

Exciting things are happening with familiar ingredients again in the world of sushi and Samurai Burrito is leading the charge from their food truck based out of Orange County California. First there was sushi, then the sushi roll, after came deconstructed sushi bowls, and now inspired by the form and concept of our neighbors to the south we have sushi nachos and burritos! You won’t find any flour or corn tortillas, but why not embrace the “easy to eat on the run” burrito wrap?

Food Trucks like Samurai Burrito offer high quality food in unexpected locations. Sometimes it is hard to chose what to try, in which case I usually pick the most unusual and new. I have come across sushi burritos before, but the Samurai Super Nachos… they were a discovery.

Snuggle-Pedic Pillow Review

Snuggle-Pedic Bamboo Memory Foam Pillow is a combination of two popular approaches to sleep comfort. This pillow comes with a bamboo outer cover that is removable for easy washing and a memory foam stuffing that is adjustable to make for the ideal level of support. Snuggle-Pedic has developed a perfect partnering of natural fibers and the technology that scientifically keeps your pillow from going flat.

Other memory foam pillows I have used have a solid center of foam which is a different sleeping experience. What I like about this pillow is the crushed filling makes resting your head more comfortable no matter what position you like to sleep in. I am all over the place at night, stomach, back, and side, so this versatility is very important.

I received the Snuggle-Pedic Bamboo Pillow around the time I purchased some cheaper bamboo pillows for around $10. These quickly lost shape and proved to me that the investment in a pillow that is durable and comfortable is worth every penny. It took a little bit of work finding the right level of softness and adjusting the filling, but now that I have it is the pillow I won’t share and travel with.
