I personally am a shoe lover, and so I definitely love finding adorable shoes for my girls. Look at the Jody White Mary Janes pictured above, I am sure that you think that they are just as adorable as I do. These shoes are from the Little Green Trike Shoe Company, which has a lot of great shoes for girls and boys alike.
About Little Green Trike Shoe Company:
The Little Green Trike Shoe Company is the creation of Andi Jensen and Julie Larsen with a passion for fine children’s wear. They carry as well as create the original, high-quality Squeaky-Feet shoes, Sophisticates, Stompers, School Squeaks, and a new line of bigger kiddo shoes, Sprouting Up.
The shoes are made of the finest qualities of materials. Each of the shoes has a soft “Squeak” that helps kids learn to walk with proper heal-to-toe movement. Not to mention the fact that kids love the sounds that they make, and parents can easily keep track of where their child is.
The shoes are available in toddler sizes 3-10. This Spring they just came out with the new ‘Sproutin’ Up’ line for bigger kids with sizes 11-1 and no squeak.
The shoes have been recognized in some medical circles as promotin proper heel-to-toe toddlin’. Continue reading
A new baby requires focus and attention, and new parents have enough on their minds. Finding simple solutions that will streamline your life can help to put your mind at ease.
While some babies are content to stay in their cribs or playpens, other babies insist on being held at all times. Luckily, there is a compromise that will satisfy a needy baby as well as a tired caregiver. A sling or other baby carrier allows you to wear your baby while you do other things. Your baby will be happy to be close to you, and you will be able to go about daily life.
Babies grow so quickly it often seems as if today’s newborn is tomorrow’s toddler. Since babies use their mouths to explore their world, baby proofing your home is vital. Keeping small objects out of baby’s reach, covering outlet covers and installing cabinet locks are just the Continue reading
People usually adopt a new exercise program in order to be able to wear their favorite outfits. However, you don’t have to wait until those extra pounds are off to be stylish. You can show off fashion flair anywhere, including the gym. Here are five ways to look your best even while working out.
1. Choose Comfortable-Fitting FabricsYour workout gear won’t be stylish or effective if you’re constantly tugging and pulling at the seams. If it bunches, rolls, pinches, or constricts, then it doesn’t fit. The same goes for clothing that is oversized. It makes you look bigger than what you actually are and may even hinder your mobility.
As for the material itself, make sure the fabric is breathable. Natural fibers such as cotton work well, but you might choose to invest in a moisture-wicking synthetic fabric. Clothes made from these materials keep you cool when you’re hot and keep you warm if you exercise outdoors.
Don’t stick to dreary grays Continue reading

If you haven’t heard of An Apple a Day by Karen Berman and Mellissa Petitto, you are going to really want to pay attention here!
We reviewed the awesome cookbook the last few weeks and I love everything about it. 365 days using apples whether it’s in a creative craft, fun facts, or recipes this book is jammed pack full of things you don’t want to miss. I tried several recipes including Apple Brownies, Pork Chops Smothered with Mushrooms and Apples ( my favorite!) and a few others which the family really enjoyed! My kids were blown away to know dishes held apples in them but I will admit they like the sweet treats more than anything.
This is the Dark Chocolate and Almond Crisp, it was so good!
With easy to follow directions tips and facts, you are presented with an easy reading cookbook that uses fairly everyday items that you will have laying around- this is very important to me! As a mother of four my days are incredible busy and at the last minute being able to grab a cookbook that will Continue reading

What, pray tell, is a Wummelbox?
A Wummelbox is a subscription based craft box delivery service. Each box set has a theme which ties it together. Some of which are nutrition, music, color and light. The projects included in each box are made to help develop creative thinking, language, expression of feelings, movement and following directions.
The materials themselves meet all US and European standards for toys but are also Eco-friendly. Using natural items like sand, cork, reforested wood, and even the packaging itself these boxes are recycled, natural and reusable. Everything needed for each project is also included in the box, like scissors, glue, paint, etc.
The Wummelbox we received had the theme of Time Travel. The box included three Continue reading
