You all know that my girls are definitely girly girls. They love dresses, skirts, frills, and anything pink. I am always on the look out for adorable clothes for both of the girls. I was so excited to come across the Persnickety website.

About Persnickety:

Persnickety began just a few years ago as a little clothing company that produced small quntities of girls’ clothes to sell at farmers markets and fairs across Utah.  They spent every Wednesday during their first summer in business driving to Park City with their five children to share Persnickety with all the lovely people that stopped by their table.

During that summer, Craig had the opportunity to travel with a group  to Nicaragua to explore options for charitable giving – a part of the Persnickety drean that they are anxious to see unfold. His experience there was life-changing.

In February 2010 they launched their first wholesale line for the upcoming fall season. They had teamed up with some successful sales reps who helped them get the word out about Persnickety. They were pleasantly surprised when they ended up with about 50 girls clothing boutiques that first season.

Persnickety “Buying is Giving”:

Helping less fortunate children was one of the primary motivations for starting Persnickety Clothing Company. Their Buying is Giving program allows them to do just that. Every time an item of Persnickety clothing is purchased, they share a portion of the proceeds with children in need.

While visiting Nicaragua, they were able meet some amazing people that today help them manage their charitable operations in Nicaragua. They have really enjoyed seeing the change that has taken place in peoples lives as they have had an opportunity to use their talents to produce clothing for less fortunate children in their country. With Persnickety, they are able to work from home close to their little ones, which has been a great blessing to them.
