With Christmas just around the corner, I am always on the lookout for new great products for my kids. Pinypon definitely did not disappoint this year.

WIN Pajaminals Board Book and Plush Toy

My daughter loves to read. I don’t think there’s anything else she would rather do than cuddle up with my husband or I and read. So, when we found out the popular children’s show Pajanimals (Running Press Kids) teamed up with The Jim Henson Company  to make a book, we were completely and 100% sold!

As a mom, it is so important for me to see my daughter enjoy reading.
I love the fact that Sweet Pea Sue Makes a New Friend encourages my daughter to use her imagination. It also teaches her not to be afraid of people (or things) that are different than she is. In fact, after reading this book to her a few times, I’ve noticed that her own fears have decreased a little bit! She no longer screams at the sight of mannequins at the store when I remind her of Sweet Pea Sue and her friend Ellie. That, my friends, is a huge accomplishment!

Not only does this book have a great message, but it also includes reusable stickers that you can stick on each page to make the book “come to life”.  I mean, could it get better than that?

Nickelodeon Floam Factory and Gak #GiftGuide

Floam is an odd substance which brings a smile to kids faces all around. It is an odd sort of sticky modeling compound with little foam-ish balls in it which doesn’t dry out like other modeling compounds. The interesting part about Floam is its ability to add textures and bright colors to everyday objects like a brightly colored underwater castle with bubbles or an alien head with bumpy skin. Also it comes off relatively easily for next time. The colors are so bright and fun the possibilities are endless. Check out the Nickelodeon Floam Factory. Peppa Pig- New Toys and Books Available!

My son loves Peppa Pig, the adorable cartoon originally created in the UK. Last year, the award-winning, animated series for pre-k kids jumped across the pond, much to the to delight of U.S. kids. Your children can tune in on Nick Jr.

The main character is a pig named Peppa, who likes to get into all sorts of things. The show follows the daily routines of Peppa, her brother George, as well as Mommy Pig and Daddy Pig. The episodes tend to feature everyday, relater activities like attending playgroup and being with friends, going to the playground, swimming, visiting with grandparents, playing in mud puddles and doing all sorts of fun stuff.

Little Man was super excited when his Peppa Pig toys got here- he asked me if we could “call England to say thank you”, LOL. They arrived just moments before we were on our way out the door for a weekend trip to CT, so guess who came with us? You got that right….Peppa Pig, in stuffed version, is really cute. She is soft and fuzzy, and snorts! (Don’t worry- she has an on/off button for sleep time, no waking up to pig noises!)
We love the “Muddy Puddles” DVD. It has tons of Peppa-sodes, ready to keep your little fan entertained on rainy or sicky days. My son also loved the Peppa Pig Christmas book, which also had coloring pages on the back of the color. Sweet for the car ride! A double-occupier.
