Week 2 of Nutrisystem #NSNation

Well, as most of you know, I was on a cruise last week, and there is a no-food allowed to be brought on the ship rule.  So- no Nutrisystem allowed on, and none for me.  But guess what?  I totally gained weight- what they say about cruises is true.  I had almost no access to Wifi, thus no work was done,  and I ate way too much of way too fatty foods, and I don’t even care.  I should- but I don’t, LOL.  It’s fine- I will take it off this week.  I’m home for a bit now, and can finally give this diet the attention it deserves.

Nurtisystem – Just Starting

I am almost done with my first week of Nurtisystem.  I can’t say it was a success, but that’s my fault- I was on a trip, so it was not the best time for me to start a diet.  Next week I will be away as well, but then I will be home for a bit and better able to stick to a diet when near my own kitchen, haha.   Plus I will be back at the gym- I’m a girl that loves being on a schedule, so I know it will be better for me when I am back.  Being a carb-queen, there is a lot to get used to, a very different way of eating.  Lots and lots of veggies, dairy is OK to have as well for some things (and variety) and a lot of water.

You get your food in the mail- breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert.  This, plus you can eat veggies, fruit, some dairy and proteins.  Everything but some of the veggies are in small, weighed, or measured quantities.  This is tough at first, but will help you with portion size and control in the long run.  Remember- we didn’t get overweight because we DON’T like to eat, am I right?

My Week With @Nutrisystem #NSNation

Devil I am, I was at BlogHer this week, and you KNOW I was not using my Nutrisystem. It just didn’t happen. With pretty much everything being a lucnh, brunch, breakfast, or party of some sort- yeah, it just didn’t work out. The good thing? It involved a whole lot of walking, all over NYC, and I still lost 2 pounds, LOL. So I am putting this one on the win column.
