As I am sure that you are probably very well aware of by now, my daughter absolutely loves babies. She goes through stages of which one is her favorite, but one thing is for sure, and that is that she always has a baby with her. When I was given the opportunity to to try out a Gotz doll, I couldn’t have been more thrilled.
About Gotz Dolls:
Gotz is a luxury German doll maker. They are now coming back to the United States, courtesy of HABA.
In 1950, Marianne Gotz handcrafted beautiful dolls while her husband, Franz Gotz, would sell them from a wagon he pulled with his bike. Six decades later, the second generation of Gotz family members is still running the show.
There are a few features that make Gotz dolls stand above all of the other dolls out there. First, their hair can be washed, styled (even with a curling iron or blow dryer on low setting!) and brushed just like their owner’s hair! The secret to the company is that the dolls’ hair is rooted in the scalp, so they won’t snarl or kink. The other wonderful feature is that if your doll gets dirtier than a spot treatment can take care of, these dolls can be tossed in the washing machine! You just have to put the doll in a pillowcase, turn the water to cold, delicate cycle, then let the doll lie, belly down, until dry! However, their standing dolls, should not be washed, due to their size.

- Wearing pink croc’s as well!
This doll has wonderful overalls, that your child can really work on putting together. You can also take on and off the jean jacket that she is wearing.
My Thoughts:
I have been extremely impressed with our doll! As you can see, my daughter is very excited about her new baby. She loves to play with her! I absolutely love that we can wash her hair, as well as style it however my daughter has in mind! This is one thing that I know will never get old for my daughter, and it definitely stands out above all the other dolls that she owns!
I like the style of her outfit, and how there are ways for my daughter to interact and learn from dressing her. My daughter loves the shoes as well.
I think that every girl needs a Gotz doll, and she will definitely have a favorite doll for life.
