Got a little one this Easter? Chocolate and candies won’t do, and some of the “big kid” stuff is overwhelming in little hands. Check out these fun, age appropriate ideas of what to fill their Easter basket with.

Cloud B Bubbly Bunny is adorable and perfect for baby’s first Easter morning. This uber soft plush bunny plays four soothing sounds that are begun by the push of a button.  Volume controlled by mom and dad, it also has a sleep timer option with 23 or 45 minute intervals you can choose from.  This sweet bunny makes an adorable Easter gift.  $30 at http://cloudb.com

Also available from Cloud B is Glow Cuddles Bunny, another cuddly, soothing option.  When your child hugs this bunny (or fusses), it mimics a heartbeat in sound and feeling, helping to calm your child to sleep.  It also has a steady glow, though not too bright that it would interfere with sleep.  $33 at http://cloudb.com

TOMY’s Lil’ Chirpers Sorting Eggs is perfect for a child who is becoming more mobile, or is learning colors, shapes, or sorting.  Not only is it good for learning, but it’s cute and brightly colored- and great for the holiday.  It contains two matching games, six eggs, and a carry/storage case. When an egg is “broken” open, a colorful chick can be found inside.  If your child presses on the head of the chick, a “peeping” sound will be made.  $12 at http://tomy.com

Lamaze Bella Bunny is a good option for small children and babies, as it can be hung from strollers and carseats as well as carried about.  Your baby can touch, feel, and even chew on all of Bella’s textures and features, and it’s perfectly safe.  It’s even a soothing chew for teething babies, and machine washable.  It has a mirror, as well as rattle and crinkling fabrics to stimulate all of baby’s senses.  Lamaze also color codes all their products to make it easy to find the perfect toy for your child’s age and developmental range.  Bella Bunny is $16 at http://tomy.com

Giggle Bunny Ball, also from Lamaze, is great for babies and tested safe for birth on up.  When the bunny ball is shaken, it laughs in a silly way.  It has a design that is easy for babies and small children to grab, from the ball shape to the loop ear.  It is made of high quality fabrics that are of bright, contrasting colors to stimulate your child and encourage play.
You can attach the bunny ball to a carriage, stroller, or carseat (or take it along to restaurants and the like) if you use the ear to lasso it to the object of your choosing- you might not want to lose this one.  $10 at  http://tomy.com

The Jelly Bean Racer from Little Tikes comes in four colors- pink, red, green, and orange.  For more mobile children (roughly 12-24 months) to scoot and slide about on, the racer is shaped like- you guessed it!- a jelly bean with four wheels.  It has antennae like “handles” to keep kids secure on top, and it sits low to the ground.  By using their feel to pedal or push off the ground and to steer, kids can cruise around the room or yard like Mario Andretti or Danica Patrick.  Just, you know.  Smaller.  $20 at http://www.littletikes.com
