With little kids and the lives that we live, we are always on the go. It is always good to find some great items that your child can use when you are on the go as well as when they need to be busy and quiet at the same time. A Wuka is the exact thing I was looking for. Not only is it an activity that they can do quietly, but it is also an activity that is very educational.

About Wuka:

Your Wuka is a silent, educational toy that consists of individual squares held together by a binding called a “link”. Each high quality fabric square is designed to quietly entertain children while teaching essential skills, such as buttoning, matching, and typing. After you choose the squares that match your child’s interests, you then link them together to create their own unique Wuka. A wuka can easily be updated by adding, removing, and exchanging squares as your children grown. No two wukas are the same. The Wuka works to quietly educate your child.

Their Mission:

At Wuka, they aim to help parents Quietly Educate the children in their lives. Each of their products helps develop essential life skills while quietly engaging your child’s imagination.

How it Got Started:

When Matt, the founder, was a child, his mom made him a “quiet book”. The pages The pages had buttons, zippers, ropes to braid, and colors to match.

As a parent, he looked for a quiet book butfound nothing that would work for my own, unique child. Unable to create their own, he envisioned a quiet book that he could custom build one page at a time that was safe, well designed, and high quality.

His idea has now become a reality. The Wuka is a new kind of toy that links individual pages to create an educational experience for each individual child. As your child grows, Squares can be added or exchanged to grow with them.

My Thoughts:

I received:

  • Bundled Up
  • Pack It In
  • Peek-A-Boo Bear
  • Catchin’ Critters
  • Tall, Tall, Tall
  • Doggone Cute

We have had a great deal of fun with our Wuka book. My girls love to play with the book by themselves as well as playing together. My youngest favorites are giving the dog a bone as well as the Tall, Tall, Tall. My oldest favorites are the Bundled Up and the Pack It In. I am so impressed by this awesome item. Not only is it a great activity, but I love how you can constantly change it and make it grow with your child.
