I am a huge fan of books. I read more books to my children each week then a lot of people do in a month. My children love to read books to me as well as listen to books. I get so very excited when I find a great book that can be personalized for my children. I was very excited to try out Following Featherbottom.

About MarbleSpark:

Marble Spark’s Plan consists of 3 steps:

  1. Make Awesome Books
  2. Do Good.
  3. Repeat

In 2005, the owner and his wife were expecting their first child. On a whim, he wrote and illustrated a crude storybook. He loved the idea of giving their future kids a one-of-a-kind gift. The book was awful. But that humble start eventually led to Following Featherbottom.

The name MarbleSpark speaks to their hope of igniting imaginations. marble is meant figuratively, as in brain; noggin’, or noodle – like, “Have you lost your marbles?” And Spark means ignition, explosion, and combustion. For MarbleSpark isn’t just a name – it’s a mission.

My Thoughts:

I have greatly enjoyed this book. There are wonderful pictures and rhymes on each of the pages. My daughter loves following the storyline. She also enjoys finding things on each of the letter page that start with the same letter.

I love the whole idea of this book. What a cute neat idea. I love how it incorporates your childs name as well as their birthday.

I think that any kid would love to receive this book.
