Being a teacher, blogger, mom, and grad school student I feel like I am always running from on thing to the other. I love to take time to do fun, and cute crafts, but sometimes I feel like I go way too long without doing them. I was so excited to be able to put together these cute little robot snacks for my daughter and her friends at school.

What You Need:

  • Individually packaged applesauce (I used the strawberry applesauce)
  • Square Juice Box
  • Laffy Taffy (2 for each)
  • Small Boxes of Raisins (2 for each)
  • Plastic Spoon
  • Googly Eyes (2 for each)

How To:

    1. Tape the raisin boxes to the bottom of the juice box
    2. Tape the Laffy Taffy candy onto the top of the juice box for the arms.
  1. Glue Googly Eyes onto the front of the applesauce
  2. Tape the applesauce onto the top of the Juice box.
  3. Tape the Spoon onto the back of the Robot.

**Once I figured out the best way to get them taped together they went together really fast.

Variations:

  • You can use different candy for the arms (ie. Smarties, Small Twizzlers, etc)
  • You could draw the eyes on if you didn’t have Googly Eyes

Let me tell you that a class full of 3, 4, and 5 year olds were very excited to see their robots that they got to have for snack/birthday party. The best thing about these great snacks is that they have everything that you are going to need for the snack. They have the food, drink, snack/candy, and utensils all bundled up in one cute little package.

As you can see my daughter really loved her snack. She really enjoyed helping me put them together and putting tape on it to make sure they stayed together.

Enjoy, and if you choose to make some for that little kid in your life, please share a photo so I can see :).
