Ms. Feuss, I enjoyed your article in the ‘Travel’ section of the ‘Chicago Tribune’ today, July 1, 2018. It was particularly interesting since my wife and I grew up in Niagara Falls, NY.
However, it would have been extremely helpful to your readers to hame mentioned that EVERYTHING YOU DESCRIBE IS ON THE CANADIAN SIDE OF THE NIAGARA RIVER. I know only too well that NF, NY has little to offer – poorer views of the water, fewer accommodations for tourists, much less scenic parks at the falls area and what is available for tourists is (or at least was the last time we went back) … not much. Even Old Fort Niagara doesn’t compare to Ft. George, let alone the drive north along the river to get to it on the U.S. side. In fact, on the few occasions that we are asked about a trip to NF, we always recommend the
    Canadian side.

Thanks for the comment. Considering that the title of the column was “Visit Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada” I think they will likely understand it is in Canada. Also, since the locations of all the attractions are listed as being in Canada, I again think that they will understand that. If not, then I’m not sure what to say. I personally enjoy both sides of the falls, but that column was focused on the Canadian offerings. Thank you.
