Types of Casino games

Online casino games are now a huge part of the online gambling community, with thousands of titles of offer from a range of very talented designers and developers. Follow this link to learn more about online casino and how you can get involved.

Pushing the boat out seems to be the main trend when it comes to online slots, with so many different themes, symbols and new ways to play the old fashioned fruit machine. Knowing this is the case, or more so quickly realising it when you find yourself bombarded with an array of different slot machines, can lead to feeling a bit overwhelmed.

Which casino games are the best? Which ones pay the most? And what types of slot games are there?

Well, we are going to attempt to at least answer the latter question, as we explain to use the types of online slot games that you will find out there in the big, exciting and always expanding world of online gambling.

3 reel slots

Something of a rare sight these days in the complex landscape of online slot games and fruit machines, the 3 reel slot is the classic layout.

Consisting of just 3 reels on your game screen, you simply have to match symbols on one of the lines to create a win. It is as simple as that and often these games will have a retro feel, playing to the charm of the slot games that still flash and flicker in the corner of your local public house.

5 reel Casino slots

Arguably the most common slot you will find out there, will be a 5 reel slot.

Quite simply, this means that the slot game has 5 reels. You may find a lot of these are 5 reels by 3 rows, making for fifteen symbols on the reels at any time. Creating winning combos therefore, is possible from left to right and often, up and down. Getting a combination of 5 symbols in a row is usually the most rewarding, depending on whether that is made of low paying or high paying icons.

Progressive Slot

Progressive slots are called as such because their prizes keep growing and growing as you play. More concerned with the pay system here, rather than the layout, the more often you win, the more you win is the simple formula for success here.

Prizes can be tallied up, maybe resulting in bonuses and mini games, for a slot game with a real (or should that be reel?) narrative.

Mobile Casino Games

There are a number of casino games out there that have been specifically created for your smartphone.

Running perfectly well on a smaller screen, often in a portrait mode, these are games that are just supremely tailored for your smart phone. Usually available as an app or at least playable in your smartphone internet browser of choice, these are perfect games for playing on the go.

There are plenty more kinds of casino games out there, but the best thing to do to learn about them is to get out there and play… so what are you waiting for?

Things to consider when gambling during travel

For optimized gameplay, while travelling, firstly, you must ensure a stable WiFi connection to avoid consumption of your mobile data. There are a plethora of cafes and locations like airports, hotels, offices that offer free internet connections.

If you’re in a mood to try out games, check out the trial games on your casino’s catalogue before you stake real money. World-class online hotspots powered by eminent software developers usually offer a lobby of games on mobile devices that range from online slots, table games, poker, and bingo to live-dealer games and more. You can always look out for tournaments and races when travelling to poke in more fun on the go.

The iGaming industry has contributed immensely to the sale of mobile devices. There are several smartphone providers designing devices with dedicated specifications to support the smooth functioning of online games. Smartphones make a reasonably good choice for enjoying impeccable graphics and features of the latest casino games though tablets may provide you with an edge with their bigger screens. Travelling with bigger tablets may not always be feasible and software providers optimize the games so well that you can easily get used to the comfort of carrying and playing smaller devices. You can always purchase mobile devices that offer a solid battery backup capable of supporting intense gaming so that you don’t have to fret about your phone running out of charge in the midst of a gaming session. In fact, laptops remain an alternative option for gaming, especially when travelling for business purposes.

How Technology Has Influenced the Gambling and Casino Industry

The Following is a Guest Post. All opinions and the writing is that of the author.

Technology has changed the face of the gambling industry. With online casinos mushrooming and games accessible on the go, technology has played a key role in the industry booming at rocket speed. Gambling has always entertained people and now with gambling sites and mobile casinos on the rise, only the platform has shifted.

How it all started?

Gambling can be dated back to the 1790’s era where horses and race tracks were used for betting. Gradually with time gambling got legalized across countries and the industry witnessed thousands of betting shops being installed. With bookies transmitted information through wire services, there was some form of technology already shaping it all up. With the evolution of fruit machines around 1986, race courses powered by computers came up and within the next two decades, online betting with Bingo and Poker became popular. Slot gaming online in UK and other destinations spread like fire. By 2015, the online gambling industry started functioning full-fledged generating huge revenue.

The rise of apps and mobile devices in casino gaming

The use of smartphones is no longer limited to online shopping. The mobile gaming industry and software providers have ensured the comfort to players with games playable from anywhere and everywhere across a range of devices. Researchers predict that by 2018, the mobile gaming industry will take over 40% of the total online casino market. Increasingly software developers are designing slots and other casino games optimized for smaller portable devices so that customers can play from the comfort of their homes or even when travelling without compromising on the quality.

At most popular mobile casinos, players can instantly access the games lobby and starting playing from their mobile browsers without having to download games. For players who enjoy apps on their devices, top casinos also provide special apps built-in for downloading games on your choicest devices. The convenience is noteworthy and gamblers can play anything from popular slot titles to classic casino games round the clock. Games that were earlier run in Flash are now developed using the HTML5 technology. With this players can use any operating system using their latest iOS and Android devices to login from anywhere and enjoy seamless gaming relentlessly.

Integrated devices are used to accept cash deposits, printing tickets, scanning loyalty cards and more. At casinos, players feel secure using the user-friendly option for betting at the digital kiosks. These are ideal for the casino industry. Table kiosks have become increasingly popular as they offer a multi-platform gaming solution. With the possibility of paying and betting from the same device, customers can use one ID for accessing a host of facilities. This unique solution enables gamers with an immersive and all-encompassing experience. Latest technology such as employed by imageHolders allows for customization where betting kiosks can be designed to fit individual player needs on integrated tablets.

Technology has carved the realistic niche for players on the digital platform where players can stake real money from anywhere in the world and win cash rewards in their preferred currency. Cutting edge technology has also made live dealer games accessible on all major devices where players can engage in real-time casino gaming supported by real dealers and HD video streaming. With the contribution of technology to casino business, there’s more to come in future.

Gambling Innovations We’ll See Before 2020

The Following is a Guest Post. All opinions and the writing is that of the author.

The gambling industry has been moving at the same rate as technology has. Therefore, as the year progresses, new inventions will become evident in the gaming industry. Below are some of the most thrilling gaming inventions that will be a reality come the year 2020.

Virtual Reality

During the last few years, virtual reality has grown from small to huge business. Modern inventions of VR headsets like Samsung Gas, PlayStation, and Oculus Rift VR are results of new technology. This has led to much talk about VR and its potential growth of the gambling sector in the near future. Further, virtual reality casinos such as the SlotsMillion and Casino VR are some of the advancements in the gambling industry. This is a product that has great potential despite challenges such as peer-to-peer communication flawed graphics facing VR casinos.

Other developments in the pipeline worth watching are the release of virtual reality slots from NetEnt developers, with others are expected to follow.

Players will have a chance to enjoy the experiences of their land-based casinos from the comfort of their homes and in a more sensible way than deal with live dealer casinos, thanks to this technology.

Advanced Mobile Platforms

During the year 2016, mobile gaming revenues had exceeded computer console and PC gaming revenues according to reports. This revenue growth was attributed to mobile gambling games. Players also have a desire for gaming and it trickles to mobile gaming. Other platforms include the online casinos, mobile eSports gaming and mobile virtual reality casinos which are an indicator that mobile is the future of gambling let alone being the past and present

Widespread eSports Betting

Reports from researchers estimate that revenue from the eSports industry could rise to 1.5billion dollars by the year 2020. This is a confirmation that the eSports industry is growing really fast and will soon become the talk of the gambling industry in the near future. This growth is already evidenced by the global eSports tournaments cropping up year after year.

A good example to illustrate the above is the LoL Championship, a maiden competition which had a prize of $100,000, 1.6 million viewers in the year 2011. After just five years, this tournament had 43 million viewers and the prize stood at 6.7 million dollars. Other games with significant prize growth are Dota 2 and bingo slot games.

Cryptocurrencies

This is a technology that has been in the industry for the last ten years and most people are aware of it. Bitcoin happens to be the most common cryptocurrency which was created in 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto and is largely regarded as the first digital currency. Primecoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin cryptocurrencies have then emerged after Bitcoin.

The value of Bitcoin has also grown since it was introduced and its exchange rate is almost equivalent to 4,300 dollars at the moment. The number of people using Bitcoin as a method of payment has grown over the years to almost 6 million despite facing heavy criticism. The gambling industry has also adopted Bitcoin as a mode of payment. Further, specific Bitcoin casinos have even established to deal with the demand for funding gambling accounts using this mode of payment that is continuously on the rise.

Reformed Legal Regulations

The legal setting of gambling has for long encountered much unrest with introductions of laws prohibiting gambling every so often. However, the negative attitude and punitive laws are slowly coming to an end especially with online gambling which has been legalized in some US states, and countries like Morocco and Japan. Considering the economic benefits of this lucrative industry, legalization can only spread further by 2020.

Explore the World of Backgammon with the Best Mobile Games

I’m new to backgammon; my boyfriend is teaching me how to play and giving me backgammon tips because his entire family loves the game. I wanted some extra practice to hopefully impress him with my improved skills, and I thought that trying an app might be the way to go. After all, it’s portable and I can learn the rules as I play.

I’m glad I decided to go with that route because I’ve had a lot of fun in the process. My boyfriend has even told me that he’s noticed serious improvements in my backgammon game, which is really nice to hear. Of those that I tried, there are two apps that I keep coming back to and those are the ones I want to share with you today.

Go the Traditional Route or Get Creative with Backgammon

Both traditional and more creative fans of backgammon will be able to find the perfect game theme when playing Backgammon. You can improve your strategy skills, challenge friends and family, and see how you rank on leaderboards; something that I find particularly cool. Not to mention, there are achievements and board themes you can unlock to make playing more engaging and fun. And, if you’re not sure about the rules, you can just play against the computer until you feel confident in your skills.

If you find that you play against the computer a lot, you may find that the computer wins more games than it loses. While I totally understand where people might find this annoying, it seems to me like it’s par for the course when playing against a computer. But, at the end of the day, you’ll have to decide this for yourself.

Backgammon Live

Backgammon Live lets you compete alongside millions of players around the world with a variety of online multiplayer games; all of which are really fun. You can also unlock rewards the more you play. Then, you can use these to access new board themes to make your game more personalized. Plus, if you’re not sure how to play backgammon or you just need a quick refresher, you have the ability to do so by playing backgammon online with friends.

More experienced backgammon players may prefer this game less than beginners and here’s why: the game tends to favor players who spend more money on bonuses. While this doesn’t really affect me because I’m still learning (and, as a result, I’m not playing against super high-level players just yet), I’ve heard that this is the case for some of the more high-level players, so keep this in mind.

Conclusion

I’ve been having a blast learning how to play backgammon and I think you will too with this apps. Even if you’re a more experienced player who wants a fun way to spend some extra time, I would definitely recommend these apps to you.

If you tend to be the type of person who likes to do a little extra research on your own, I wanted to provide you with the source where I found both of these apps so you can do a little additional exploring. It’s a top 10 app list for backgammon, which I found to be really helpful, so hopefully, you will too!
