Our pets mean a lot to us- they are definitely on the spoiled side, as anyone who reads the blog or follows on social media will know. Another thing you probably know- one area that I’m very fussy about with every living thing in the house (human and non) is oral healthcare.

If you’ve ever read any of my other posts, you know I’m more then a little neurotic about teeth and dental hygiene. It matters so much! bought treats to reward your dog, but there are also some simple homemade treats that are sure you
keep your pet’s tail wagging this fall. Looking for some cooking inspiration? Here are some recipes for
tasty, healthy treats you can make for your dog.

Apple Treats

Fall is a great time for us two-legged folks to go apple picking, so why not use some of those fresh apples
and create some homemade, gourmet treats? Made from whole wheat flour, cornmeal, apples, eggs,
vegetable oil, brown sugar, and water, this apple dog treat recipe will be good enough for humans and
dogs alike.

Bacon-flavored Biscuits

Does your dog have a preference for meat instead of fall fruits and veggies? For those carnivorous
canines, consider serving up some bacon-flavored dog biscuits. This is a perfect treat to create after
serving up a big breakfast for those human members of your family. First, preheat your oven to 350
degrees and lightly grease a cookie sheet. Next, combine two eggs, 1 cup milk, a half cup water, teaspoon
salt, and 10 tablespoons of bacon fat into a large bowl. Gradually stir in 5 cups of whole wheat flour,

Loving Pet’s Healthy Treats

There’s nothing better than to treat your favorite pet with something they’d love! Loving Pets is a company devoted to keeping your pet happy and healthy and is coming up with tasty ways to treat your four legged family members. While there are tons of treats to choose from at Loving Pet’s we were happy to try out the Grill-icious treats.

We tried out the All Natural Beef and Turkey Treats. They’re called Grill-icious and if my dogs could talk, they’d probably say just that. My kids find the name adorable and helped wrangle the dogs up for treats!
