Big Hero 6 Movie Review

My son and I recently saw the new Disney movie, Big Hero 6.  We both really enjoyed this movie, it will be one both adult and kids will like.  It was one of the cuter movies I have seen in a while, if a bit sad at times.  The story revolves around a boy-genius, Hiro, who tragically loses his brother whom he looks up to (after they have already lost their parents- Disney hates in-tact cartoon family units, don’t they?). His brother is a “nerd”, and builds amazing technology at a local university.  With some encouragement from his brother and his brother’s friends, Hiro creates a new machine himself and earns a place in the same school.  Unfourtunatly, this is where the trouble starts. His brother is lost, as is the school, but his brother’s invention, the robot-nurse Baymax, and his school friends are there to help Hiro figure it all out.

Captain America and the Super Bowl

The Super Bowl shows tons of big ticket commercials but one of the most interesting had to be for the new Captain America Winter Soldie movie.  Fox broadcaster Joe Buck introduced the special look to the Big Game spot, which directed viewers to FoxSports.com for a complete CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER takeover and the brand new full-length trailer. The :30 second Big Game spot included music from the National Anthem and aired surrounding the team captains introduction and the National Anthem performance.

Get Fit with Your Friends from FREE BIRDS and TV’s Toughest Trainer Chris Powell

Kids, we know it may seem more fun to live a lazy life of pizza, TV and fuzzy slippers like Reggie from FREE BIRDS, but if you want to be big and strong like Jake, it’s going to take work! That why we asked trainer and host of ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition,” Chris Powell, to share some tips to help you get moving and eat things that will keep you healthy. Tip #1: Eat Breakfast.  Mom is right, it really IS the most important meal of the day!  Eat something hearty that’s going to give you a lot of energy, like eggs and toast, or yogurt and granola. Start the day strong!

Tip#2: Get to school at least 15 minutes early for recess. Run, jump, climb, and play your favorite sports. You’ll get some extra time with your friends, you’ll get stronger and faster, and you’ll supercharge your body and mind for learning!

ET Out on Blu-Ray

E.T is a classic film with the kind of long lasting appeal all movies hope to accomplish. With a glowing finger and some help from his Earth friends E.T. is being introduced to another generation of movie watchers and rekindle the love of the current fans.

On October 9th, E.T. was released in a new 30th Anniversary Edition on Blu-ray. This new edition of the movie includes: Journals about the making of the movie, deleted scenes, a special reunion of cast and crew, a discussion of the music of E.T. and a ton of other digital goodies. CHIMPANZEE out on Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD

Chimpanzee is an adorable Disney movie that follows the life of little Oscar, who early on gives filmmakers a run for their money when unforeseeable events occur. The outcome, while brought about by tragedy, is a touching experience and a film that your whole family you will enjoy.
